A Message from Dr. Stacey G.
Owner, Janay Productions & Publishing L.L.C.
Janay Productions & Publishing was established in 2021 to present diverse stories, experiences, cultures, and music. At its core is the belief that diversity is a worldly treasure—one that lets people learn from and share, enriching our understanding of ourselves, society, and the world.
Equally important, Janay's primary focus is the love of MUSIC—not appearances, politics, or money.
From that foundation, Janay has evolved into the Janay Universe: a creative world where listeners can celebrate cultures from around the globe and experience diverse musical stories about self-discovery, personal journeys, love, relationships, and the many ways those relationships evolve.
Janay Universe also reflects ME—my DNA.
Clarissa G., Lynnie G., Melissa D., Melody G., Estrellita G., Susie G., and Tracey G. represent different traits, perspectives, and dimensions of who I am. Cain, Zachariah, and other Janay artists carry connections to my ancestry and family history.
And then there is Chicago.
Chicago is my foundation.
Chicago is part of my soul.
But the Janay Universe reaches far beyond one place. My life experiences, observations, imagination, and love of storytelling provide the foundation for stories that travel across genres, generations, and cultures. I use current technology as part of the creative process to transform those stories into music and build an interconnected world through Love Across Borders.

About Clarissa G. (Chitown)
Clarissa G. (Chitown) is from Chicago. She is an author, photographer, songwriter, poet, and production director. She shares her stories, experiences, observations, poems, feelings, and thoughts through storytelling in her books or music.
​
Her music crosses a variety of different genres to provide emotional, smooth, soothing, spiritual, and soul to hopefully bring joy to others or to give food for thought for the soul.
​
Seasonal Love and Spiritual Life albums debuted on November 28, 2025. Evolution of Love will be released on December 17, 2025, and Where the Night Does Not End will be released on January 1, 2026.
​
Future releases include a homage to Chicago and gospel in January 2026 and to Internal Love Vibes on February 14, 2026.
